Job summary

Ergotron, Inc. is seeking a Commodity Manager II to lead global strategic sourcing initiatives within Supply Chain Operations. You will drive source discovery, development, contracts, and cost performance with cross-functional teams to align with company goals.

The role emphasizes cost savings, speed, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management across global operations, with travel up to 30%. Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in sourcing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or procurement, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in Strategic Sourcing.
• Experience with Oracle or ERP systems.
• International supply chain experience.
• Proven project management with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead, negotiate and implement complex contracts.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling tools, and quality controls.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
• Must meet physical job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and drive commodity strategy with internal requirements and strategic objectives on complex commodities.
• Promote operational efficiency, facilitate and influence cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to achieve price, terms, statements of work, and contracts.
• Generate, plan, execute and implement impactful cost savings projects.
• Discover, develop, audit and enhance relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Identify and manage supply base risk including market and financial assessments and ethics.
