Roush is seeking a Commodity Manager II in Livonia, MI to lead cost reduction, develop sourcing strategies, and manage supplier contracts globally. You will coordinate with stakeholders to optimize total supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in commodity management, cost modeling experience, and the ability to read blueprints. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related or technical area.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing the responsible commodities.
• Experience with cost modeling/cost drivers/cost structures.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Demonstrated competence in negotiating skills and assessing suppliers.
• Understanding of industry quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead current production cost reduction & new program sourcing globally for the commodities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and plans to optimize supplier performance.
• Lead, manage and execute data collection, validation, analysis, and negotiation activities.
• Negotiate and manage global strategic supplier contracts & approve changes.
• Communicate commodity agreements and strategies to the business globally.
• Monitor supply markets and trends and aggregate forecasts & global specifications.
