Sensata Technologies seeks a Senior Global Director - Commodities to lead a worldwide team and drive procurement strategy with full P&L responsibility. You will influence supplier selection, manage VA/VE initiatives, and align sourcing with corporate goals while mitigating supply risk and navigating tariffs.

The role requires cross‑functional leadership across finance, engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure continuity of supply and optimal cost performance, including supplier panel

Qualifications

• University degree required or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead and develop team members; strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to present and analyze data.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Directs cross company collaborations to promote the lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions/value proposition.
• Manage Supplier VA/VE activities and commodity strategy reviews.
• Lead Sourcing of New Business and negotiation of terms.
• Directs supplier panel management and risk assessments.
