Job summary

Podium is seeking a Commissions & Payroll Manager to join the Finance team and shape our compensation and payroll strategy globally. You will collaborate across Finance, Sales, Customer Success and People teams to scale compensation programs, modernize processes, and ensure compliant payroll operations for domestic and international employees.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Compensation, Sales operations, Finance, or Accounting; SaaS/high growth preferred.
• BA/BS degree with emphasis on quantitative work.
• Experience with complex Excel/Sheets models.
• Experience automating processes using AI.
• Ability to present insights to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end commission strategy and payout processes.
• Design and implement commission plans for Sales and Customer Success.
• Meet with Sales/Customer Success stakeholders to gather payout info.
• Influence compensation strategy with Sales leadership.
• Refine career progression plans to attract/retain top talent.
• Build and evolve compensation programs and related communications.
• Partner with Recruiting on new hire compensation practices.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on commissions topics.
• Direct domestic and international payroll operations with accurate processing.
• Ensure adherence to payroll laws and wage regulations.
• Oversee system updates and data integrity across HR, benefits and accounting.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement automation for payroll reporting.
