Job summary

Novelis is seeking a Commercial Strategy Lead to join our global team in Atlanta, GA. You will analyze markets, customers, and competitors to shape our growth strategy and translate insights into actionable commercial plans.

You will collaborate across regions and functions, develop market outlooks, forecasts, and business cases, and present findings to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions. Experience in analytics, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
4–7 years in strategy, analytics, or related field.
Ability to connect market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and internal capabilities to develop actionable commercial insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to collaborate across functions and regions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze market, customer, competitor, regulatory, sustainability, and macroeconomic trends.
Monitor developments across automotive, beverage packaging, and specialty markets.
Develop market outlooks, demand forecasts, scenario models, dashboards, performance reports, and analyses.
Evaluate pricing, profitability, segmentation, and growth opportunities.
Support strategic planning with data collection, forecasting, and documentation of assumptions.
Prepare business cases and market assessments that clarify opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with regional and functional teams to validate inputs and align insights.
Track initiatives, deliverables, risks, and key measures of progress.
Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and briefing materials.
Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sustainability, R&D, Product Management, and Corporate Strategy.
