Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Two years of experience practicing law.
• Four+ years of corporate, government and/or law firm experience.
• Experience with health care law (Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act, Medicare/Medicaid/340B) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advising and counseling on fraud and abuse matters relating to commercial activities involving healthcare community members, with emphasis on Federal Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act.
• Assessing proposed and ongoing patient support programs for legal risk.
• Analyzing, reviewing and approving promotional, educational and patient support programs and materials.
• Advising on legal, regulatory and policy developments to adapt legal support to a changing environment.
• Providing guidance on proposed sales and marketing strategies.
• Advising on issues of law and policy relating to government health care programs.
• Coordinating legal support as part of cross-functional teams and collaborating with business and law department colleagues.
