Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort seeks a Sr. Manager, Lead Architect - Commerce to provide architectural vision and leadership across the company’s digital commerce, payments, ticketing, reservations, loyalty, and related revenue platforms.

This role partners with business and technology leaders to guide platform investments and modern architecture practices, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence across enterprise-grade systems.

Qualifications

• Broad technical knowledge with demonstrated success designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions in large-scale organizations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and software delivery methodologies.
• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, or comparable enterprise commerce platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commerce Architecture Strategy - Lead the architecture strategy, roadmap development, and solution design for Universal Destinations & Experiences’ global commerce platforms.
• Architecture Delivery & Governance - Oversee the development and governance of solution architecture deliverables; ensure scalable, secure, resilient designs.
• Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
• Team Leadership & Talent Development - Lead and develop a team of solution and application architects; drive coaching and measurable delivery outcomes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related technical discipline preferred.
