The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, FL is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect for Disney Experiences to shape strategy and align technology with business goals. You will work across Parks, Hotels, Retail, Ticketing, and more, influencing executives and domain leaders while driving modernization and platform thinking.

Collaboration with product, engineering, security, and operations is essential to deliver scalable Disney experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
Experience with enterprise architecture repositories and governance.
Leadership mentoring across architecture teams.
Ability to influence across technical and business domains without authority.
Experience defining metadata models and taxonomy relationships.
Proven cross‑domain architectural leadership and governance.
Understanding of front‑end and back‑end technologies.
Excellent communication with business stakeholders.
10+ years as a Solution or Enterprise Architect for commerce domains.
10+ years of engineering across multiple languages; modern tech stack.
Experience with cloud platforms, API integration, and security‑by‑design.
Experience with SaaS vendor implementations.

Responsibilities

Influence enterprise strategy and map investments into capability roadmaps.
Serve as strategic partner and orchestrator for technology roadmap.
Lead as advisor to executives and domain leaders to align tech with business outcomes.
Maintain architectural metadata integrity within repositories.
Foster collaboration with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Security.
Translate architectural strategy into business narratives for leaders and teams.
Champion modernization and platform thinking across Commerce locations.
Balance short‑term delivery with long‑term strategy and governance.
