Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Global Head of CNS to lead strategy, growth, and execution for CNS programs within a global CRO. The role partners with sponsors, leadership, and operations to shape portfolio strategy and drive client engagements.

The position is remote with travel for sponsor meetings and industry events. The successful candidate will bring 15+ years in clinical research, CNS expertise, and a strong track record in business development and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

15+ years of clinical research experience with CNS expertise.
Experience across pharma, biotech, and CRO environments.
Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive decisions.
Strong knowledge of clinical trials, drug development, and ICH-GCP.
Excellent executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel for BD and sponsor engagements.

Responsibilities

Lead global CNS strategy across clinical development and business growth.
Serve as executive SME for CNS programs across neurology and related fields.
Drive commercial growth through proposal strategy and bid defenses.
Build executive-level relationships with sponsors and key opinion leaders.
Provide oversight for multiple complex global programs.
Collaborate with BD, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Leadership to deliver solutions.
Represent the organization at industry conferences and client meetings.
Support initiatives to strengthen market positioning and growth.
