Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• 10+ years in systems engineering focused on cloud infra and Azure.
• Expert in Windows server management, security, and performance.
• Expert in Windows endpoint management and client security.
• Azure/Entra integration and cloud-based Windows deployments.
• VMware experience and migration strategies to Azure/AWS.
• VDI management for high availability and remote performance.
• Knowledge of Azure/AWS services: VMs, Storage, File Shares, Backup, Site Recovery.
• Hybrid AD and Microsoft Entra experience.
• Strong scripting/automation: PowerShell, VB Scripting, C++, or Java.
• QA methodologies and data privacy compliance.
• Strong liaison with vendors and internal teams; cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Create global blueprints for Windows Server environments and security policies.
• Oversee on-prem Hyper-V and AD integrated with Azure/Entra ID and AWS.
• Utilize Intune for global device configuration and deployment.
• Manage VMs, Storage, and File Shares; implement FinOps strategies.
• Configure Azure Virtual Desktop for high-performance remote access.
• Deploy lightweight apps with containers (AKS/Azure Container Instances).
• Enforce MFA, Conditional Access, Azure Sentinel; GDPR/HIPAA compliance.
• Design DR/BC plans with Azure Site Recovery and robust backup testing.
• Automate provisioning with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, or ARM templates.
