Job summary

Medline is seeking a VP of Accounting Operations & Close to lead global close processes, ensure US GAAP/IFRS compliance, and drive accuracy across financial reporting. This strategic role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and partners with FP&A, IT, and operations to strengthen controls and performance.

You will build and mentor a high‑performing team across US and Pune, optimize close calendars, automate processes, and oversee audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA or equivalent certification required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global close, cost & balance sheet accounting, and revenue recognition across US, EU, and Pune GCC with a focus on automation and controls.
• Oversee global close process, establish calendars, improve time-to-close and ensure US GAAP compliance in all reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, lead remediation of control gaps, and drive training for the accounting team.
