Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Supply Manager to oversee clinical program forecasting, IP supply planning, and distribution processes for multiple clinical trials.

You will lead drug supply planning, manage IP manufacturing, labeling, release, and distribution while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely site deliveries across global studies. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees (MBA, PharmD, etc.) are a plus.
• Extensive experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on clinical supply management.
• Proficiency in supply planning, inventory management, and IRT systems.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and clinical trial processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional collaborations effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead drug supply planning, including demand forecasting and alignment with clinical development timelines.
• Manage IP manufacturing, labeling, release, distribution, and return/destruction processes.
• Oversee inventory tracking, resupply strategies, and expiry management for clinical supplies.
• Coordinate IP shipment orders to ensure timely delivery to investigator sites.
• Collaborate on the development and testing of Interactive Response Technologies (IRT) systems.
• Develop and oversee strategies for drug return, destruction, and ancillary/comparator supplies.
• Provide input into study documents, training materials, and IP-related tools.
• Represent Clinical Drug Supply & Logistics in cross-functional study teams and regulatory inspections.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships for IP-related services.
• Track metrics, compile reports, and provide updates to study teams and senior management.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to training and process improvement initiatives.
