Job summary

Merck & Co. in the USA (West Point, PA) seeks a Senior Specialist, Global Clinical Supplies Process Steward to ensure planning processes are clearly defined and supported by SAP.

You will align processes with global objectives and drive the implementation of robust workflows, master data, and forecasting solutions. The role involves collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, and Supply Chain teams to standardize processes, support deviations and CAPAs in planning, and contribute to the Global Process

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Supply Chain Management or a related planning support function with forecasting, supply planning, production scheduling, and process execution.
• 3+ years of working experience with SAP, including Demand Management, MPS, MRP, and related planning processes.
• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Global Clinical Supplies processes that align with short- and long-term objectives.
• Act as the overall knowledge expert of SAP and Global Business Processes for Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting.
• Drive business challenges to resolution with system solutions across our global Clinical Supplies.
• Support business case development and maintain the Demand Tracker for enhancement requests and prioritization.
• Drive standardization, implementation, and training on new processes.
• Ensure the integrity of a single global business process by reviewing SOPs and assessing changes for system impact.
• Partner with the Global Process Steward Network and cross-functional teams to drive change and priorities.
