Job summary

Centessa Pharmaceuticals in Boston seeks a Manager, Clinical Supply Chain to lead end-to-end planning, execution, and maintenance of uninterrupted clinical supply across assigned programs. The role ensures GMP/GDP compliance, aligns with Clinical Operations, CMC, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and external vendors, and supports trial timelines and budgets.

The position involves coordinating IP, comparators, and materials, with emphasis on inventory control, IRT tools, and international logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required.
• 3–5 years biotech/pharma industry experience in clinical supply chain, including international experience, required.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor visas.
• Working knowledge of clinical supply chain processes and GMP/GDP requirements.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional project teams and external vendors.
• Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate CDMO activities supporting clinical development of pharmaceutical products.
• Ability to thrive in a small-company culture and contribute to creating and implementing processes.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Supply Planning & Execution: develop and execute supply strategies for early- to mid-phase trials; manage forecasts and inventory; support packaging, labeling, distribution, and resupply.
• Vendor & CDMO Management: work with Quality/Clinical/CMC to manage labels, schedules, and vendor logistics.
• Quality & Compliance Support: monitor shelf-life, expiry dating, retest, and investigate temperature excursions and product complaints.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Representation: communicate across functions; author Pharmacy Manuals; represent Supply Chain in meetings.
