Job summary

TECLens seeks a Clinical field team member to provide on-site medical and technical support at clinical trial sites, acting as the primary liaison between TECLens and investigators to ensure proper device operation, protocol compliance, and optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires OD with scleral lens experience or engineering-leaning clinical liaison experience, willingness for extensive international travel, and strong communication across cultures.

Qualifications

• OD with scleral lens fitting experience in ophthalmology/optometry.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 90%.
• Strong communication with physicians, clinical staff and patients.
• GCP knowledge and clinical trial experience desirable.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support at clinical trial sites.
• Train investigators and site staff on TECLens system setup and use.
• Ensure protocol compliance and proper documentation at sites.
• Troubleshoot device and procedural issues in real time during procedures.
• Report site feedback, device performance and adverse events to TECLens teams.
• Document site visit reports and training records.
• Assist with regulatory inspections and site audits as needed.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate shipments to study sites.
• Build relationships with investigators and site coordinators for smooth operations.
