Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking an experienced FAO Manager to lead the client onboarding team, oversee onboarding and initial delivery of outsourced accounting services, and manage client relationships. The role monitors performance, guides offshore staff, and ensures timely, accurate financial reporting and management information.

The position requires CPA preferred, 7+ years in accounting with leadership in a public firm, and proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including management in a public accounting firm.
• Experience providing outsourced accounting or controllership services to multiple clients.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience leading remote and offshore teams.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Analytical with attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and initial delivery of outsourced accounting services for a portfolio of client engagements.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members.
• Oversee client onboarding activities, including system setup, project planning, and process implementation.
• Review management reporting packages, financial statements, reconciliations, and other deliverables.
• Partner with clients on budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and management reporting.
• Monitor engagement performance, resource utilization, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate to identify process improvements and technology-driven efficiencies.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
