Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking an experienced FAO Manager to lead the client onboarding team and oversee outsourced accounting services. The role focuses on onboarding new clients, setting up systems, coordinating delivery, and ensuring timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA, 7+ years in accounting (public firm experience preferred), and proven ability to manage remote and offshore teams, drive KPIs, and deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management in a public accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding and initial delivery of outsourced accounting services and financial reporting for a portfolio of client engagements.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members.
• Oversee client onboarding activities, including system setup, project planning, and process implementation.
• Review management reporting packages, financial statements, reconciliations, and other client deliverables.
• Partner with clients on budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and management reporting.
• Monitor engagement performance, resource utilization, work-in-progress, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify process improvements and technology-driven efficiencies.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring quality, timeliness, and exceptional client service.
• Support the implementation of new accounting technologies and special projects as needed.
