Job summary
Cherry Bekaert LLP in Houston is seeking an experienced FAO Manager to lead outsourced accounting services and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients. You will manage client relationships, oversee offshore team members, and ensure timely, accurate reporting while driving process improvements.
The role requires CPA and 7+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting, with expertise in QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management in public accounting.
- Experience delivering outsourced accounting, client accounting advisory, or controllership services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of outsourced accounting services and financial reporting for client engagements.
- Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members.
- Oversee client onboarding, including system setup and project planning.
- Review management reporting packets, financial statements, reconciliations, and other client deliverables.
- Partner with clients on budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development.
