Job summary

Maersk Line, Limited seeks a Head of Cybersecurity to provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization's cybersecurity program, protecting information assets and regulatory compliance. You will align security with business goals, oversee risk management, and drive continuous improvement across global IT and vessel IT environments.

The role requires executive-level communication, a track record in leading security programs, and experience with federal frameworks and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years as a CISO or equivalent senior cybersecurity leader.
• Hands-on experience with CMMC certification efforts including assessments and continuous compliance.
• Experience securing and operating systems in a Microsoft GCC-High environment.
• Seven+ years in information security and risk management.
• Experience driving changes in security functions across multiple organizations.
• Experience with contract and vendor negotiations.
• Experience with NISPOM, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001 implementations.
• Certifications: CCISO, CISM, CISSP, CISA, or ISO 27000 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
• Must be eligible for security clearance.
• Excellent communication skills translating risk to business impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, road-mapping, and risk-based guidance.
• Act as CISO and CySO to meet US Coast Guard requirements.
• Develop and monitor a global enterprise information security and risk management program.
• Publish and maintain up-to-date information security policies and guidelines.
• Oversee training and dissemination of security policies and practices.
• Provide regular status reports on the security program to management and the Board.
• Develop an information security management framework aligned with business goals and risk profile.
• Coordinate security projects with IT and business unit teams.
