Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking a Director of Maritime Cyber Safety Engineering to lead strategy, design, and deployment of OT cyber defense across the global fleet. You will set secure engineering standards for shipboard OT environments, direct deployment of cyber defenses, and partner with IT, compliance, and vendors to integrate controls into vessel systems and projects.

You will mentor a high-performing team, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with safety management and cyber frameworks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred; CISSP, GICSP or comparable OT security cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global Maritime Cyber Safety Engineering strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead design, evaluation, and lifecycle management of fleetwide OT cyber defense technologies.
• Establish secure OT architecture and segmentation standards for vessel systems.
• Direct engineering delivery across lines and vendors to meet security and operational readiness.
• Develop governance, standards, and performance measures for cyber safety engineering.
• Maintain fleetwide visibility of OT assets, vulnerabilities, and remediation priorities.
• Serve as senior escalation point for OT cyber incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain engineering documents, reference architectures, and test plans.
• Coach and develop Maritime Cyber Safety managers and engineers; drive accountability.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, contracts, and vendor performance per controls.
