Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Director, Maritime Cyber Safety Engineering to lead strategy, design, and operational readiness of shipboard OT cyber defenses across the global fleet.

The role requires senior technical authority, cross-functional leadership, and accountability for architecture, standards, and governance to ensure safety, availability, and regulatory compliance of maritime systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• CISSP or equivalent cybersecurity or OT security certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in cybersecurity/OT/ICS with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Maritime Cyber Safety Engineering strategy, architecture, standards, and multi-year technology roadmap for shipboard OT environments.
• Lead the design, evaluation, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of fleetwide OT cyber defense technologies and engineering controls.
• Establish secure OT architecture and network segmentation standards that protect critical vessel systems while supporting safety, availability, maintainability, and business operations.
