Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity (CISO) to lead its global security organization.

You will own enterprise security strategy, risk management across IT, OT, and product security, and executive reporting to protect information assets and manufacturing operations. You will build high-performing teams, drive secure development practices, and coordinate with legal, compliance, and cross-functional leaders to meet evolving regulatory standards and protect

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
15 years of progressive cybersecurity experience with at least 10 in senior leadership roles.
Experience leading cybersecurity in industrial, manufacturing, or OT/ICS environments.
Strong board-level reporting and executive communication skills.
Proven ability to build and scale global security organizations and programs.

Responsibilities

Defines and executes a multi-year enterprise cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
Serves as the senior-most cybersecurity executive reporting to the CIO and Board.
Owns product security for connected products and IoT ecosystems.
Establishes PSIRT and vulnerability disclosure, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Leads IT/OT convergence, governance, and incident response readiness.
Oversees security operations, threat intelligence, and risk management across IT/OT.
Represents cybersecurity to executives, regulators, and external partners.
