Job summary

Nelson Global Products, Inc. seeks a Director of Global Continuous Improvement to drive the Nelson Excellence System across our worldwide manufacturing network. This role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements while building internal leadership capability.

You will architect and execute a multi-year CI roadmap, standardize governance, and partner with Finance to validate realized benefits. Expect travel to manufacturing sites globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or related field.
• Progressive leadership experience in continuous improvement in multi-site manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success deploying an operating system or CI management system across facilities.
• Lean, daily management, value-stream design, standard work, problem solving, and OEE expertise.
• Travel to global locations required.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the Nelson Excellence System globally across sites.
• Deploy CI roadmap with waves, pilots, and regional ownership.
• Build global improvement portfolio focusing on productivity, quality, delivery and cost.
• Standardize meetings, KPI definitions, and executive reporting.
• Develop leaders through learning, coaching, and certification.
• Coach regional CI leaders and plant managers to adopt global standards.
• Apply playbook to launches, transfers, and network optimization.
• Manage external CI partners when needed with clear knowledge transfer.
