Job summary

Barr Brands is seeking a highly strategic Sourcing Manager to lead global procurement of chemical raw materials, drive cost-optimization, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Finance, QA, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing to secure quality materials while strengthening supplier partnerships and protecting company margins in a volatile market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, SCM, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement in chemical, pharma, petrochemical, CPG, or manufacturing industries.
• Experience managing an annual raw material spend portfolio exceeding $40 million.
• Experience with global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop global sourcing strategies for raw material chemicals across product lines.
• Monitor global chemical market trends and mitigate pricing shifts.
• Lead complex contract negotiations and establish long-term agreements.
• Segment the supplier base and implement a robust Supplier Performance Program.
• Collaborate with Finance, QA, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing.
