NIRON Magnetics is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead global chemical procurement for pilot and volume manufacturing. You will partner with Engineering and Operations to identify supplier solutions, qualify vendors, and build a resilient global supply base for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 7-10+ years procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing commodity and/or specialty chemicals.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier proposals, cost drivers, and market trends.
• Strong negotiation and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to fully negotiate supply contracts
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
• Ability to develop “should cost” models

• Develop and maintain industrial chemical market expertise.
• Lead global supplier market intelligence and pricing strategy.
• Partner with Engineering to identify supplier solutions and influence material decisions.
• Analyze supplier capacity and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead supplier onboarding and qualification strategies.
• Own supplier performance management and drive improvements.
• Establish long-term supplier partnerships aligned with roadmaps.
• Define sourcing strategies for chemicals and raw materials.
• Lead RFQ initiatives and supplier selection.
• Negotiate master supply agreements and terms.
• Ensure supply continuity for critical chemicals.
• Drive supplier sourcing roadmap execution.
• Resolve complex supplier issues and escalations.
• Maintain procurement data and reporting systems.
