Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Materials Compliance Specialist to evaluate and ensure regulatory compliance for chemical substances used in design and manufacturing. You will review BOMs, support global regulatory submissions, and work with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to track material data.

Role requires ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance, strong communication, and experience with REACH, RoHS, and TSCA. Onsite role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience in global chemical regulations.
• Experience in REACH, RoHS, TSCA and related standards.
• Ability to analyze materials for compliance risk and substitutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate materials, processes, and components for regulatory compliance (REACH, RoHS, TSCA).
• Conduct material-level compliance assessments during hardware design reviews and production.
• Prepare and deliver compliance reports, material declarations, and regulatory submissions.
• Interface with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to collect data and manage risks.
