Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; risk-based discipline preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of clinically related experience or data trend analysis; 4 years in study operations with some people management (remote preferred).
• Experience in RBQM-model or risk-based monitoring preferred.
• Experience in drug development, operations, risk management, and strategic execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic indications, regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines; TA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class central monitoring while driving financial/headcount efficiencies and flexibility to respond to changing business needs.
• Partner with study teams to implement aggressive execution strategies.
• Line management of Central Monitors including staffing, development, contracting, budgeting, hiring, and performance reviews; mentor staff to drive peak performance.
• Utilize deep understanding of central monitoring and risk evaluation to support front-line staff and build trust with Clinical Site Management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing RBQM system development to enable near real-time data analysis for quality.
• Support RBQM initiatives across AbbVie’s R&D portfolio and advise on updates.
• Develop and embed processes to mitigate risk and align monitoring with program risks.
