Job summary

The Yale Center for Systems and Engineering Immunology (CSEI) seeks a Program Manager to lead the operational and programmatic infrastructure of a rapidly growing research center, and to serve as the principal operational partner to the Center Director.

You will own CSEI's program calendar—seminar series, workshops, and conferences—while managing communications, trainee programs, budgets, and multi-institutional collaborations across US, Europe, and Asia. This hybrid role is New Haven-based.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in research program management or equivalent.
• Ownership of complex, concurrent projects with timelines and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating across institutional boundaries; budget tracking & reporting.
• Direct event and meeting logistics experience.
• Excellent written communication; discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of CSEI programs: seminars, workshops, conferences.
• Manage speaker nominations, invitations, visits, and hospitality.
• Develop trainee programs with postdocs and graduate trainees.
• Direct logistics for conferences and multi-day meetings; manage budgets.
• Oversee communications and external relations for the Center.
