Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced Head of CDD Governance to ensure AML controls for retail and corporate onboarding and ongoing due diligence across a global footprint. You will align local requirements with global standards and work with MLROs and internal teams to drive effective CDD programs.

You will lead CDD strategy, manage audits and third-party relationships, partner with product and banking partners, and report progress to management in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CDD experience.
• ACAMS, ACFCS or similar certification.
• Experience with audits and third-party relationships.
• Knowledge of global CDD requirements.
• Experience with customer risk scoring frameworks.
• Strong AML/CFT and sanctions risk understanding.
• Experience with crypto/financial services licensing.
• Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Head CDD Governance to drive the CDD strategy for retail and corporate customers.
• Manage third-party relationships with auditors and Fiat partners.
• Ensure the global CDD standards for retail and corporate services are met.
• Partner with Product leadership to strategize global and local CDD enhancements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our banking partners.
• Act as point of contact and escalation for compliance related matters with banking partners, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Managing multiple CDD projects across multiple jurisdictions and ensuring key projects are delivered on time.
• Reporting to management on the progress of Global and local CDD projects.
