Amazon is seeking a Category Manager to own and strategically source goods globally across Worldwide Operations on behalf of the Global Procurement Organization. You’ll lead cross-functional sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers, and advance GPO imperatives such as delivering savings, reducing risk, and driving productivity at scale.

Responsibilities

• Establish global category sourcing strategies; lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to optimize Amazon's competitive position across WWOps.
• Collaborate with business teams and procurement functional areas to optimize supplier relationships and drive value realization.
• Act as a market intelligence provider for the category and influence cross-company project development and standards.
• Reimagine the procurement process using AI; identify and automate high-friction steps across the lifecycle.
• Lead negotiations and alignment with stakeholders to ensure terms and drive adoption across GPO.
