Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a HUB Category Team Leader to shape regional sourcing strategies and drive supplier excellence across the region. You will guide a category management team, align with global priorities, and implement best-in-class procurement practices to support growth and resilience.

You will lead negotiations, manage contracts, monitor KPIs, and promote digital procurement solutions while collaborating with cross-functional partners to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Experience leading strategic sourcing and category management.
• Proven ability to lead global or regional teams.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience with KPI tracking and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hub Category team to develop and execute regional material category strategies.
• Drive strategy execution through sourcing excellence and best practices.
• Monitor KPIs and implement actions to meet targets.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and lead negotiations and contracts.
• Lead sourcing risk management to improve continuity and resilience.
• Promote procurement tools, methodologies, and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align sourcing with business goals.
• Coach and develop team members for high-performance culture.
