Laborie is seeking a Category Lead to drive global category strategies that optimize costs, manage supplier performance, and strengthen continuity for critical healthcare technologies. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Quality and Finance to align sourcing with business goals and accelerate innovation.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier relations, and complex negotiations to deliver sustainable value and annual cost savings across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field required.
• 8–10+ years in strategic sourcing, category management or procurement.
• Proven track record in global category strategies and supplier negotiations.
• Experience with supplier relationships, SRM and contract management.
• Knowledge of industry standards and certifications enhances candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global multi-year category strategies aligned with growth and operations.
• Conduct market intelligence, supplier assessments, benchmarking and spend analysis.
• Build category roadmaps focusing on cost optimization, supplier innovation and risk.
• Lead sourcing initiatives: RFI/RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation and selection.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive SRM programs.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, IP protection and service levels.
• Develop negotiation strategies aligned with objectives and drive cost savings.
