Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co is seeking a Director, Global Medical Cardiovascular, Medical Product Lead to drive medical strategy for a HF/cardiomyopathy asset. You will shape integrated evidence plans and external engagement, working across clinical development and global markets.

The role requires extensive experience in cardiovascular medical affairs, strong scientific leadership, and the ability to navigate a global matrix to achieve differentiation and lifecycle goals.

Qualifications

• Life sciences or healthcare professional training with an advanced degree is required (MD, PharmD, PhD).
• Minimum of 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs/Medical Strategy/Clinical Research, with cardiovascular experience preferred.
• Strong scientific knowledge of heart failure and cardiomyopathies and the evolving treatment landscape.
• Experience supporting asset strategy in early- to mid-stage development and medical input into differentiation and lifecycle strategies.
• Familiarity with all phases of drug development, including regulatory strategy and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute WW & US Medical Affairs strategy aligned with cardiovascular portfolio.
• Act as core global medical representative for WW program teams with strategic leadership across forums.
• Lead the Asset/Indication Medical Strategy (AIMS) team, setting direction across global markets.
• Articulate clear scientific differentiation narratives considering PK/PD, titration, monitoring burden, and safety margins.
• Collaborate with Medical, Development, Regulatory, Commercial, HEOR, and Access to position the asset effectively.
