Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director, Global Clinical Physician (Cardiovascular) in Cambridge, MA, to drive diligence and clinical strategy across cardiovascular assets. You will partner with BD leadership, shape trial design, and guide safety assessments throughout development and deal cycles.

Qualifications

• MD (or equivalent) with board certification/eligibility in a relevant specialty preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of GCP/ICH, drug development, study design, statistics, and clinical operations.
• Strong medical writing and communication skills for diligence memos, deal narratives, and governance presentations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex clinical programs.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a clinical/medical contact in diligence conversations, partnering with senior BD leadership.
• Leads literature reviews and landscape assessments for asset valuation and trial design benchmarking.
• Develops clinical development plans and presents to governance committees.
• Shapes trial design elements, endpoints, enrollment criteria, and feasibility.
• Provides medical input on safety risk assessments within diligence packages.
• Collaborates with Biostatistics, Regulatory, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Pharmacology.
