Job summary

Legend Biotech US is seeking an Executive Director, Global Program Leader to oversee in vivo CAR-T programs from IND enabling through proof-of-concept, late-stage development, and lifecycle management. You will align research, clinical development, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial objectives while leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic milestones.

The role requires proven leadership in global development programs, strong regulatory experience, and exceptional communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of biotechnology/pharma drug development experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership managing global development programs.
• Demonstrated success advancing biologics, cell therapies, or similar programs through clinical development.
• Direct experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of in vivo CAR-T programs across development lifecycle.
• Develop integrated global development plans aligning scientific, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial objectives.
• Serve as primary executive for program success, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
• Drive portfolio decisions by evaluating benefit-risk, competitive landscapes, and investment priorities.
• Lead global clinical development and registration strategies for in vivo CAR-T assets.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs on development pathways for rapid proof-of-concept and approvals.
• Prepare development scenarios, investment analyses, and milestone recommendations.
