Job summary

Legend Biotech, based in Somerset, NJ, seeks an Executive Director, Global Program Leader to drive in vivo CAR-T programs from IND enabling through clinical proof-of-concept, late-stage development, and lifecycle management.

Reporting to the President of R&D, the GPL will lead cross-functional teams across Research, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Translational Medicine, Manufacturing, and Commercial to deliver integrated strategies and governance for global development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in biotech/pharmaceutical drug development.
• Leadership of global development programs (5+ years).
• Experience in biologics, cell therapies, or gene therapies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in vivo CAR-T programs across development lifecycle.
• Develop integrated global development plans across multiple functions.
• Serve as accountable executive for program milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Drive portfolio decisions considering benefit–risk, competition, and priorities.
• Align program strategies with corporate objectives and portfolio priorities.
• Chair Global Program Teams and guide cross-functional execution.
