Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an Executive Director, Global Program Leader based in Somerset, NJ to lead the in vivo CAR-T programs across the development lifecycle from IND enabling through proof-of-concept and late-stage development.

You will align cross-functional teams, drive integrated development plans, manage regulatory interactions and submissions, and report to the President of R&D, shaping strategy and governance for global programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical drug development.
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience managing global development programs.
• Experience in oncology, immunology, cell therapy, or in vivo genetic medicines is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy and execution of assigned in vivo CAR-T programs.
• Develop and maintain integrated global development plans aligning science, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial objectives.
• Serve as the primary strategic leader for program success, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
• Drive cross-functional problem-solving and ensure timely resolution of risks.
