Job summary

Guardian Life seeks a Global Capital Risk Analyst to support capital planning and regulatory reporting across U.S. and Bermuda entities. You will forecast RBC/BSCR, analyze results, and partner with Investment Management, Actuarial, ALM, ERM, and FP&A to inform strategic decisions.

This role offers exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration, with a hybrid NYC location (Hudson Yards) and a compensation range aligned to market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the life insurance industry; Bermuda capital framework familiarity desirable.
• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or other quantitative discipline preferred.
• FSA, CPA, or CFA charterholder/candidate preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Claude and Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a continuous forecast of regulatory capital (RBC and BSCR).
• Analyze and monitor actual financial results to identify implications to Guardian's capital position.
• Develop understanding of Guardian's asset allocation and how investments influence capital outcomes.
• Drive opportunities to optimize capital across the balance sheet and support high-impact initiatives.
• Support data and technology initiatives around building capital-related databases and dashboards.
