G&W Electric Co. seeks a Global Engineering Systems Administrator to lead administration of Creo Parametric, EPLAN Electric P8, and visualization tools, with ownership of Windchill interfaces and PLM-connected systems.

You will engage engineers and site liaisons to identify needs, drive adoption, and deliver measurable engineering value. You will define configuration standards, manage upgrades, and coordinate with IT on security, licensing, and deployment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years administering enterprise CAD/ECAD/PLM-connected software in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience supporting global or multi-site engineering platforms, deployments, users, and standardized configurations.
• Experience with enterprise application configuration, deployment, testing, validation, upgrades, enhancements, release management, and incident resolution.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling, electrical design, CAD data, product structures, parts libraries, revision control, BOM outputs, and engineering release processes.
• Proficiency with standard business-productivity and collaboration tools.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based enterprise applications and their client/server/deployment dependencies.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Engineering’s functional administrator and platform owner for Creo, EPLAN, and related visualization tools.
• Engage with engineers, designers, and site liaisons to identify needs, gather feedback, and drive adoption through training and standard work.
• Own interfaces between Creo/EPLAN and Windchill, ERP, and manufacturing systems; coordinate testing, data validation, and user acceptance.
• Define and maintain Engineering application configuration standards, templates, libraries, and deployment requirements.
• Lead technical workstreams and continuous-improvement initiatives for engineering platforms.
• Own Engineering readiness for upgrades, including testing, training, and release communications.
• Monitor usage, license demand, and coordinate deployment, security, and licensing with IT.
• Develop and maintain the Engineering systems roadmap aligned with stakeholder needs and lifecycle requirements.
• Maintain library content and admin procedures; ensure backup and cross-training for critical functions.
• Provide escalated support for troubleshooting, with a focus on adoption and value realization.
• Represent Engineering in vendor discussions, define requirements, and contribute to technical scopes of work.
