Job summary

The International Monetary Fund seeks an experienced professional to lead and support CSF risk, budgeting and resource management activities. You will guide planning, budgeting, Accountability Framework, and risk management initiatives across the Unit and related divisions.

Key work includes developing budget guidelines, coordinating with OBP and HRD, and delivering analytics using PowerBI, Excel, and the IMF data warehouse to drive efficiency and strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business, finance, budgeting, accounting, statistics, computer science, or CPA certification, plus 4 years' experience.
• Or a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or 2 years at Grade A10 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget formulation and monitoring for the department, including annual requests and capital budgeting.
• Analyze resource planning, cost-benefit analyses and align with strategic priorities.
• Support Accountability Framework development and departmental strategy tracking.
• Coordinate workforce planning and Workday projections and reporting.
• Develop indicators and reporting to monitor inputs, outputs and cost-effectiveness.
• Support vendor management and contract activities for value for money.
• Apply knowledge of IMF financial systems (FACTS, TRACES, TIMS, IBBIS).
• Utilize PowerBI and data warehouses to create dashboards and analytics.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff within the Unit.
