Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation seeks a year‑round/internal communications intern to craft and refine internal communications, newsletters, and intranet content while supporting event planning and cross‑functional collaboration in Oshkosh, WI. The incumbent will draft and edit communications, assist in organizing town halls and recognition programs, and collaborate with teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Responsibilities

Remote flexibility may be considered during the school year.YOUR IMPACTCreate engaging content: Draft, edit and proofread internal communications, including newsletters, emails, intranet content and presentations, ensuring alignment with organizational tone and style.Event coordination: Assist in planning, organizing and promoting internal events such as global town halls, employee recognition programs and community initiatives.Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external touchpoints.Explore our other team areas: Support projects in public relations, branding, social media and graphic design to develop a well-rounded skill set.Research and innovation: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to bring fresh, innovative ideas to communication strategies.Adaptability: Perform additional duties and participate in team initiatives as assigned, contributing to the broader goals of the Global Branding & Communications team.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEnrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a business-related field.Strong written communication and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.STAND OUT QUALIFICATIONSGPA of 3.0 or higher.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.Experience with SharePoint Online, Adobe Illustrator, Canva and photography skills are a plus.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Pay Range:$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
