Job summary

ACBSP Global Business Programs seeks a Director of Strategic Communications to lead development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy, build the brand, elevate the organization's global presence, and deepen member engagement alongside the President & CEO.

The role will establish the communications function, recruit and lead a high-performing team, and deliver multi-channel messaging across digital, print, social, and media while guiding voice and reputation for a nonprofit

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive communications experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies for complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across executive communications, press releases, web content, social media, and publications.
• Proven experience in digital communications including website content strategy, social media, email marketing, and analytics.
• Experience building or rebuilding a high-performing communications team and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with organizational mission and brand.
• Build and lead a high-performing communications function and team.
• Serve as ACBSP's primary storyteller, brand steward, and strategic advisor to senior leadership.
• Oversee internal and external communications across digital, print, social, and media channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accreditation, Member Services, and Finance.
• Guide web presence and design resources, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
• Cultivate media relationships and manage press inquiries.
