Job summary

Ionis Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director of Commercial Distribution Operations to oversee product distribution and Order to Cash processes. You will lead domestic 3PL partnerships, drive ERP enhancements (SAP S4/Hana), and ensure regulatory compliance across global distribution of RNA-based therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or business required; 15+ years in pharma/biotech supply chain or distribution roles.
• Experience with product launches in pharma/biotech.
• Strong understanding of US pharmaceutical distribution, regulatory standards, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic 3PL partnerships and lead distribution operations.
• Design and implement ERP system enhancements (SAP S4/Hana).
• Ensure regulatory compliance across distribution activities.
• Oversee data analytics for supply chain metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance to optimize distribution and supply continuity.
