Job summary

HMM America in Irving, TX seeks an SMT Analyst to support pricing and multi-trade bid coordination for key regional accounts. The role requires timely responses to new account requests to meet critical deadlines and to monitor contract performance.

You will quote rates from Transpacific origins (Asia) to the USA and Canada, create regular reports, and assist the sales team with account management while coordinating with other departments to complete tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires 3 years’ related experience, preferably within shipping/logistics.
• Advanced Excel skills: formulas, vlookup, pivot tables, conditional formatting.
• Ocean freight or supply chain experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supports pricing and multi‑trade bid coordination for key accounts.
• Responds to new account requests to meet critical deadlines.
• Quotes rates from Asia to USA/Canada for assigned accounts.
• Creates and distributes regular reports for management and customers.
• Collaborates with sales and other departments to fulfill tasks.
