Job summary

Brobston Group in California is seeking a senior leader to steer the strategy, design, governance, and delivery of domestic and global benefits programs, including healthcare, wellness, and retirement offerings.

You will partner with brokers, PBMs, TPAs, and vendors to optimize programs, manage costs, and ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA/PFL, and California rules, while delivering clear, empathetic employee support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading domestic and international benefits programs.
• Experience with consultants/vendors and key projects; international experience preferred.
• Strong financial, analytical, communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Canva, Google Suite, benefits platforms, and Oracle.
• CEBS, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee healthcare and wellness program design, governance, and execution including open enrollment and new hire journeys.
• Partner with wellness teams, brokers, PBMs, TPAs, and vendors to optimize programs and manage costs.
• Resolve complex employee and leadership inquiries with empathy and provide dual-language dialogue.
• Use claims, utilization, ROI, and cost data to evaluate program performance.
• Maintain compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA/PFL, and California regulations.
• Strengthen global benefits governance and lead vendor performance management.
