Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Director of Global Benefits to own benefits and leave strategy end to end, building on a foundation as we scale across the US and international markets. You will lead a global team, manage annual cycles, ensure compliance, and partner with Legal, Finance, and Recruiting.

This player/coach role emphasizes design, process, and AI-enabled efficiency to deliver competitive, localized programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in benefits with 3+ years leading a team.
• Deep US benefits expertise across health and welfare plan design, 401(k), leave, and the compliance landscape (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and state equivalents).
• Real international experience: design/administered benefits in EMEA and/or APAC; understand statutory minimums as a floor, not a program.
• Strategic and hands-on: present plan-design recommendations to executives; untangle Workday eligibility rules.
• Vendor and broker management: run RFPs, negotiate renewals, and hold partners accountable across a global vendor landscape.

Responsibilities

• Define Harvey's global benefits philosophy with global consistency and local relevance as new markets enter.
• Lead plan design and redesign across the US and international footprint (10+ markets and growing) balancing impact, competitiveness, and cost.
• Build a program roadmap and business case for benefits, wellness, and leave, grounded in benchmarking and market analysis.
• Grow and develop the global benefits team across the US and EMEA, setting priorities and raising the operating bar.
• Set and maintain service delivery standards: response times, escalation, and employee question handling; use AI/automation to reduce volume.
• Oversee annual cycle end to end: renewals, open enrollment, plan changes, carrier transitions, and new-country launches.
