Legora is recruiting a Benefits Analyst to serve as the analytical and administrative backbone of our benefits function. The role ensures enrollment data accuracy, catches billing discrepancies, and provides employees with clear answers to benefits questions.

You'll support day‑to‑day administration across the US with growing exposure to international programs as Legora scales. A hands‑on role for someone early in their benefits career who wants real ownership.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in benefits administration or related HR/analytical function.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Working knowledge of US benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA).
• Experience with HRIS platforms and benefits systems, including configuration testing.
• Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail in reconciliations.
• Clear, empathetic communicator for employee benefits questions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Familiarity with HiBob or similar HRIS is a plus.
• Exposure to international/multi-country benefits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, voluntary).
• Serve as primary benefits contact, resolving issues accurately and considerately.
• Support open enrollment from config/tests to employee communications.
• Support leave administration (FMLA, statutory leave, disability, parental leave).
• Reconcile benefits billing and vendor invoices monthly; audit for discrepancies.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy with routine audits and carrier coordination.
• Create and update SOPs, guides, and employee communications.
• Assist with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and international compliance as programs grow.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and People Partners on cross-functional questions.
• Support global benefits smaller scale outside US as needed.
