Job summary

GP Strategies Government Solutions, Inc. invites experienced aviation instructors to support a large aerospace client in Ridley Park, PA. The role covers training on electrical, mechanical, structural and systems topics with travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Education, training and/or prior experience in electrical, mechanical, or structures systems.
Prior teaching/instructor classroom delivery experience.
Ability to travel up to 50% to various client locations throughout the U.S and Internationally.
Background/Experience in one or more of the noted platforms preferred: C-17, 747 or KC46

Responsibilities

Confer with management/client to understand work situation and determine trainee training needs.
Recommend an implementation plan for development of instructional methods and delivery of training.
Design and develop teaching outlines and training to address client needs using instructional systems development methods.
Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and references.
Deliver training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty.
Design and develop exams to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.
Evaluate training programs and report trainee progress.
Maintain training programs and materials.
Travel to client sites as needed.
Work on multiple shifts may be required.
