Job summary

North Point Technology in Novi, MI seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional commercial vehicle programs from planning through execution. You will manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and Stage Gate requirements while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, project management, or related field.
• Three to five years of project or program management experience.
• Experience communicating with external customers and managing cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of APQP and structured program-management methodologies.
• Experience developing and managing project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-level programs and support larger, high-complexity global programs.
• Assemble cross-functional program teams and lead planning.
• Develop program plans, WBS, schedules, baselines, and milestones.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and others.
• Maintain and communicate project schedules aligned with commitments.
• Organize and lead project meetings and status reviews.
• Monitor scope, budget, schedule, quality, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and present program-status reports to customers and senior management.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and drive resolution.
• Establish change-management for scope, schedules, costs, and requirements.
• Liaise with external customers on status and concerns.
• Determine staffing requirements and communicate resources.
• Provide extended support when requirements exceed expectations.
• Schedule and document Stage Gate reviews.
• Conduct Stage Gate reviews with senior management.
• Maintain project documentation and stakeholder communications.
