Job summary

Minth Tawas Manufacturing in East Tawas, MI, is seeking a Launch Manager with a strong background in automotive program introductions. You will lead cross-functional teams to launch new products on time, within budget, and meeting customer quality requirements.

You will coordinate across manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, and production, drive launch deliverables, and ensure plant readiness and ramp-up while managing costs and customer deliveries.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Mechanical, Automotive, or related technical field.
• Experience: minimum 5-8 years PM in automotive manufacturing.
• Must have experience in new project introduction to manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer of new programs from Minth China to the US plant and organize cross-functional launch teams.
• Develop launch timelines aligned with customer milestones and plant readiness.
• Oversee plant-side process planning, line layout validation, and production trials.
• Coordinate resources, equipment transfers, training, and production line acceptance.
• Lead PPAP submission and secure customer production approval; manage quality issues during launch.
• Control project costs within budget and track launch-related expenses.
